Donald is a Director at the firm with nearly a decade of experience helping Raben clients create and execute strategic communications campaigns. Donald is an expert at developing the right narratives for the right audiences to gain his clients the traction and support they need to advance their causes. His work includes organizational positioning, message development, audience identification, media relations and content creation.
Donald joined The Raben Group in 2009, after a variety of nonprofit and private sector experiences. At Raben, he has worked with some of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations, coalitions, foundations, and corporations to help them communicate about homelessness, education, childhood obesity, voting rights, immigration, healthcare, racial equality, LGBT equality, and more.

Donald has been a Leadership Institute Fellow at the Center for American Progress. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in American studies from Wesleyan University, where his coursework focused on the cultures, politics and literatures of the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. He is a native of Alexandria, VA.
