As an Associate in The Raben Group’s Washington office, Evan provides clients with a suite of media and communications services, including social media support, media relations tactics and communications strategy. Some of his clients include the Hispanic National Bar Association, Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, TIAA, the African American Mayors Association, among others. Evan also serves as the Communications Coordinator for Pay Our Interns, a bipartisan nonprofit dedicated to increasing the number of paid internships in government, for-profit, and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining The Raben Group, Evan was at the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the trade association that represents the North American steel industry on Capitol Hill, where he handled media relations and communications. During his time at AISI, Evan secured placements in top publications like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Bloomberg.
Evan was raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut and earned his B.A. in Public Relations and Political Science from American University in Washington, where he served as the Vice President of Publicity for American University’s PRSSA chapter. Evan is a member of PRSA’s New Professional chapter, often guest blogging on career and networking topics.
Additionally, Evan has been published in PRNews Pro Online and was named to The Hill’s 50 Most Beautiful People list for 2017. Currently, Evan is pursuing his M.A. at Georgetown University in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
