Laura Arciniega’s demonstrated commitment to social justice, her remarkable work ethic, and her enduring integrity have led to enduring relationships across the country, with stakeholders from government, advocacy, philanthropy, and the private sector. 

Laura has also amassed extensive political campaign experience at the federal, state, and local levels, which serves to inform the depth and breadth of her political strategy and advocacy.

Laura brought over a decade of congressional experience when she joined Raben, having served as district director, legislative counsel, and acting chief of staff to former chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, Congressman Xavier Becerra. As a top advisor in both the capitol and district offices, Laura provided keen insight for navigating complex public policy challenges and delivering results. In the years she led the district office, Laura hired, trained, and supervised the district team, and drove and implemented an annual strategic plan. She also served as Rep. Becerra's legislative counsel, focusing on Ways and Means Committee work and such key issues as education, health, transportation, labor, and immigration. During her time as acting chief of staff, Laura managed both the Washington and Los Angeles offices.

Laura worked as a consultant to AEG and the Staples Center Foundation, overseeing a variety of projects, including producing the AEG “Season of Giving” campaign, which featured multiple public events aimed at raising awareness and financial support for local non-profit organizations.

Laura received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law School and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stanford University. She maintains a personal commitment to community service, volunteering with advisory and fundraising committees to promote education and environmental sustainability and increase opportunities for underserved communities.
