Robert Raben, Patty First and the Raben team are thinkers (and really cool people). Their strategic thinking brought clarity to our efforts around the always difficult immigration issue.

– Ali Noorani, Executive Director, National Immigration Forum

Established in 1982, the National Immigration Forum is the leading immigrant advocacy organization in the country, with a mission to advocate for the value of immigrants and immigration.

The Raben Group has been working with the National Immigration Forum since 2007 to help develop and manage their strategies and campaigns and create a bipartisan immigration debate.

Patty First, a principal at The Raben Group with an extensive immigration background, serves as one of the Forum’s top strategic advisors, helping them navigate federal policy and advising them on how to respond to challenges as they arise.

We have helped them to create a bipartisan immigration debate, engaging diverse faith, business, and law enforcement constituents that had not previously had a role in immigration reform. We manage and lead the strategy for Bibles, Badges, and Business, a multi-million dollar campaign focused on the faith, law enforcement, and business communities, and we assist the Forum in coordinating its work in key states, which includes providing strategy and guidance to their field teams.

Today we serve as part of the core senior team for the Forum and its campaigns, assisting with strategy and policy and bringing unusual allies into the immigration debate. With our assistance the Forum has consistently engaged federal policymakers, coordinated the drafting of legislation, and reached out to stakeholders across the country.
