As The Raben Group’s recruiter, Bona Busari supports a range of human resources and operations functions, including managing talent acquisition processes like sourcing, interviewing, and recruiting. She also manages relationships with practice areas, applicants, and referrals and collaborates with operations and practice areas to create strategies for talent acquisition at Raben and with external partners.
Bona brings nearly ten years of experience with her having done work in the public sector, with nonprofits, and with large corporations. Before coming to Raben, Bona worked as a professional recruiter at the United States Postal Service where she managed the full cycle of recruitment for headquarters positions across the country. She finds excitement in the hunt and enjoys creating strategies for difficult-to-fill roles, workforce efficacy, and data-driven human capital process improvement.
A staunch advocate for mental health awareness, Bona has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. In addition, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing, singing, photography, and playing guitar and ukulele.
