Broderick Johnson serves as Producer of the March on Washington Film Festival, a project he has worked on since its inception in 2013. In this role, he helps manage content development, fundraising, and production: Broderick curates events, develops sponsorships, and works with the production staff for talent outreach, film acquisition, and the overall strategic development of the Festival.
Broderick has also worked on client services previously as a Raben Group Senior Associate. In this capacity, he led social media strategy for the Hispanic National Bar Association, one of the largest Latino professional associations in the country. Broderick has also worked with the Walter Kaitz Foundation to design the Media Mission program, a fellowship for mid- to senior-level military veterans coming out of active duty to enter the cable industry. In this capacity, Broderick conducted interviews with over more than 30 stakeholders who had an interest in the program and integrated their feedback into the strategic direction of the fellowship.
Broderick has helped broker legislative relationships and strategy as well. In his work on the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Annual Capitol Hill Day, he helped secure over 80 congressional meetings for the Foundation’s partners with their representatives to speak about local Soccer for Success Programs in their communities.
Prior to joining The Raben Group, Broderick was an Investigation Associate for the Committee on Education and Labor. He received a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from California State University, Fresno, and was named one of The Hill’s Spinmeisters for his DJing throughout the Washington area. He has also been featured in Brazil, as well as Puerto Rico.
