Carolyn Clendenin is a director in The Raben Group’s Media & Communications practice area, where she brings a strong background in strategic communications, writing, public policy, and media relations to help her clients amplify their message.
Prior to joining Raben, Carolyn worked at Keybridge Communications, where she collaborated with a wide array of clients to develop and execute communications strategies. Carolyn specialized in op-ed writing and earned media — and generated many hits in top-tier publications including in The Washington Post, USA Today, and U.S. News & World Report.
Before Keybridge, Carolyn spent time with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation Press Office, where she wrote feature stories for a local newspaper, crafted speeches for officials, and corresponded with the media. Carolyn also interned at the New York City Council Press Office, where she was tasked with drafting press releases, responding to media inquiries, and helping keep their website up to date.
Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Government and American Studies. In her spare time, she travels across the country playing ultimate frisbee.
