Diana Fernández is an associate in Raben's Issue Campaigns and Movement practice area. She uses her passion for the law, research/analysis, and policy reform to help her clients achieve successful outcomes.

Before joining Raben, Diana worked as a content writer for Study.com, where she crafted thoughtful and enriching lessons for students ranging from middle school through the college level. She also served as a legal assistant at Hernandez & Valois, P.A., where her duties included scheduling litigation, managing monthly partner billing records, and training incoming legal assistants. While working with ABC Tutors, Diana tutored low-income families and other K-college students, specializing in humanities, organizational skills, and the social sciences. While in college, she spearheaded a semester-long research project on women’s susceptibility to the housing crisis in Miami.

Diana is of Colombian descent and was raised in an immigrant household in southern California; her ethnically diverse background and love for anthropology enable her to pick up on distinctive cultural, social practices, and norms across various complex planes. A graduate of Florida International University (FIU) with bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Anthropology, she was a member of the United States National Committee for UN Women at FIU and the National Organization for Women in college. Diana is fluent in English and Spanish, and continues to improve her Portuguese in her spare time. She enjoys going on hikes with her dogs, true crime, reading, and gardening.
