Ethan Ellis is an associate in Raben's Government Affairs & Policy Council practice area. Ethan works to advocate for and improve the lives of those systemically silenced and marginalized worldwide.

Before joining Raben as a full-time associate, Ethan interned in the Government Affairs & Policy Council practice area for a year. Working with both the Innocence Project and Compassion & Choices, Ethan helped defend the rights of those often overlooked. In addition, he spearheaded department-wide conversations surrounding race and inequity in athletics at Vassar College, highlighting the lack of support for black and brown athletes.

Ethan graduated from Vassar College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. Throughout his four years, he was a member of the men’s basketball team, helping to lead them to their first championship in school history. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area, you can find him exploring D.C., playing cards with friends and family, or playing basketball in his free time.
