As an Associate in The Raben Group’s DC office, Gionelly Mills combines his passion for effective governance and impactful public policy with top-notch writing, research, and organizational skills in support of the firm’s government affairs clients and beyond.
Prior to his time with Raben, Gionelly worked with Prime Advocacy, where he managed a robust caseload of government relations clients, securing hundreds of Capitol Hill meetings along the way. In addition, Gionelly previously served two members of Congress: former Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Representative Cedric Richmond (D-La.) and Representative Frederica Wilson (D-Fla).
Gionelly is a proud alumnus of Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting HBCU, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English summa cum laude, served as Student Body President, and became the second student in the University’s history to chair a committee of the Board of Trustees.
Gionelly is originally from the Empire State, and in his free time enjoys playing tennis and performing as a classical vocalist.
