New York, NY

Graciela Abinader is an associate in the Issue Campaigns and Movements practice area at Raben. She uses her skills in legislative research, writing, and communications to support clients in advancing initiatives that strictly reflect their policy goals. Graciela’s global perspective allows her to find innovative ways to cultivate impactful and long-lasting coalitions.

Before joining Raben, Graciela was an intern for Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.), where she conducted and presented research on communicating a healthcare bill to the constituents of New York’s 13th Congressional District. Graciela was also a crisis communications intern in The Newlink Communications Group and a presidential campaign volunteer for the PRM candidate in The Dominican Republic’s 2020 general elections. As an undergraduate, Graciela worked as a research assistant for the Kellogg Institute of International Studies, where she developed a strategy to decrease political biases in the selection of high court judges in the Dominican Republic. Her previous experiences have given her extensive knowledge about the intersection of politics, policy, and strategy.

Graciela graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 2022, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Political Science. While not artistically gifted, she enjoys going to the breathtaking art galleries and museums in Washington. She also enjoys indoor cycling, hiking, and traveling to obscure places.
