Jess Gawrych is a senior associate in The Raben Group’s Media and Communications practice area, where she brings extensive expertise in social media management, strategic digital ad campaigns, and messaging development.
Prior to joining Raben, Jess was the digital media associate at Georgetown University, where she managed social media channels with 100,000+ followers on behalf of the university. At Georgetown, Jess was primarily responsible for rapid response communications, content calendar management, digital content creation, and student ambassador management. She worked extensively with students and departments across the University to create social media campaigns that aligned with the University’s mission of academic excellence and Jesuit service while highlighting student life and alumni accomplishments. Before Georgetown, Jess also worked at Proof Strategies as an account executive managing a portfolio of private-industry clients in the waste management, transit, and retail sectors.
Jess holds a master’s degree in Media and Strategic Communications from George Washington University, where she specialized in data analytics and impact campaigns as part of her thesis. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in Politics and English from Boston University. When she’s not coordinating with reporters or developing strategic communications campaigns, Jess likes to spend her free time obsessing over her houseplants and cats, or exploring new bike trails in the DMV region.
