Lana Ramadan is a passionate storyteller with a knack for finding innovative new ways to push sticky issues forward. She brings extensive campaign, digital storytelling, and grassroots organizing experience to her work as a senior associate in The Raben Group’s Issue Campaigns and Movements practice area.
Before joining Raben, Lana served as the digital communications project manager at NextGen America. There, she saw the conception to completion of national Biden advertisements, Senate advertisements, and various paid media projects targeted to young Latinx and Black voters in key swing states. As the digital communications lead, she worked directly with sponsored and influencer partners to motivate and persuade high potential communities to get out the vote and ensured that the organization’s message was disseminated through creative and out-of-the-box digital avenues.
Previously, Lana served as a national email strategist to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s campaign for president, where she drafted and launched successful email campaigns that provided the blueprint that drove engagement and generated sign-up and donation conversions. The email campaigns — which mapped Warren’s vision for big, structural change — drove real action to improve transparency and accountability within our government and shared meaningful and broad support of working families. Lana also created an internal Middle Eastern, North African, and Muslim working group and supported national and state Arab and Muslim organizing when needed.
Lana started her career at an issue advocacy firm RALLY, where she merged communications strategy with public policy through innovative projects, events, and campaigns for various Bay Area and Los Angeles clients.
Lana earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from UC Berkeley.
