With 25 years of experience as an advocate and lobbyist in Washington, D.C., Founding Principal Larry González's expertise is sought after by clients to help shape and advance policy and implement strategic and tactical plans to engage the Latino community leadership, Hispanic members of Congress, and the Hill and administration at large.

Larry has been named a top lobbyist (2020-2022) by the industry’s leading organization, the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics (NILE), and by “The Hill” in their annual Top Lobbyist, Hired Guns category (2020-2023).  

Larry is a leader in LatinStrategies, the firm's strategic platform for driving clear and influential engagement strategies with Hispanic communities. He also regularly represents a client portfolio before the House Energy and Commerce and Senate Commerce committees and the House Financial Services and Senate Banking committees, among others. A veteran of numerous legislative battles, Larry deeply understands the importance of coalition building and the nuances of the policymaking process.

Previously, Larry was the lead lobbyist in Washington, D.C., and director for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, a nationally recognized association of more than 7,500 Latino public and appointed officials throughout the United States.

Before moving to Washington, D.C., he served as a legislative aide in the Illinois State Senate. Larry also worked as an aide for the Cook County Illinois Board of Commissioners and as director of communications at the Cook County Clerk’s office. He has extensive political campaign experience, having run successful state senate, state representative, and county board campaigns.

Larry was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Western Illinois University.
