Magen Wetmore is a senior associate in the media and communications practice at The Raben Group, where she uses strategic communications to craft messaging and advocate for meaningful social change.
Magen joined Raben after more than seven years at the National Immigration Forum, where she most recently served as a communications manager. Over the years, she developed messaging, was the lead producer and project manager of their weekly podcast, worked in media relations, and led content creation on the organization’s social media platforms. Previously, Magen was the volunteer executive director and regional leader of Lean In DC, which creates space for conversations about gender and workplace bias.
Magen graduated from the University of Florida with bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Spanish. She is pursuing a master’s from the George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health online in her spare time. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Magen lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and their dog. When she is not working, she enjoys playing volleyball and running.
