Oliver Wells is an Associate at The Raben Group who brings the focus, presence, and dedication honed during years as a professional musician to client services. Oliver has worked with a broad range of clients in different fields including National Journal, Futures Without Violence, Revolve Impact, the Internet Innovation Alliance and the Foundation for the Carolinas.
Before joining The Raben Group, Oliver worked at the Motion Picture Association of America. As a member of the Global Policy team, he monitored priority legislation, filings, and trade agreements, and developed advocacy tools on international subject matters for coalition partners, congressional members, and delegations.
He has interned with the House Committee on the Judiciary, working on a diverse range of legislation and policy issues in areas including foreign and domestic intellectual property, patent and trademark litigation, U.S. Copyright review, municipal bankruptcy, national intelligence, and federal civil rights.
Oliver also spent two years in Atlanta as a Teach for America corps member teaching middle school math.
Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University. During his undergraduate career, Oliver gained considerable experience in the justice system working in New York’s civil, criminal, and appellate courts with counsel, judges, justices, and district attorneys. In his free time he enjoys cycling, writing and composing.
