Dr. Pablo Otaola brings more than 18 years of experience as a diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner with specific expertise in large and highly matrixed organizations.
For the last three years, Pablo led a DEI consulting firm with a diverse team that focused on organizational assessment, DEI strategic planning and change management readiness, coaching and consulting, and training series that equipped leadership, managers, and employees to create cultural change and organizational change.
Pablo has come to understand that organizational learning and change towards DEI requires an understanding of individuals, people groups, and systems of various contexts and cultural values. He has built a career of efficiently implementing systematic change, leadership transformation, and models that have allowed diverse teams to thrive.
Over the years, Pablo has developed various programs that train on organizational change, racial minority and women retention practices, multi-ethnic and religious identity, cultural intelligence, inclusion, equity and diversity, leadership development, and gender equity. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in leadership and organizational readiness towards diversity as well as certifications in cultural change, cultural intelligence, UB training, DEI, and multi-ethnic leadership, he is poised to build upon organizational productive aspects while providing vision and leadership to align with DEI goals.
Pablo has earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Organizational Change from the University of Southern California. His dissertation focus was on creating organizational change and culture change to be inclusive and equitable so diverse people groups are attracted, developed, and retained from the University of Southern California. Pablo’s passion is to take this information to equip organizational leaders to change systems and create new ones that would allow all constituents to thrive. He is a USAF veteran, married to his partner Anna, has two young boys, and resides in the Denver, Colorado area.
