The Raben Group

An associate in The Raben Group’s Communications and Media practice area, Sarah Medrano is a strategic and thoughtful communicator dedicated to ensuring that all clients are given a voice to tell their stories and to create a long-lasting message. Sarah is deeply interested in matters relating to immigration, education, and healthcare reform, and uses her strong background in writing and client relations to help develop and carry out effective campaigns.

Prior to joining Raben, Sarah was a client solutions associate at the Gerson Lehrman Group, in Austin, Texas, where she recruited top executives in the healthcare and corporate space for consultations with private equity and investment firms.

Previous to living in Austin, Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Texas A&M University, with a focus in Communication and Media, while writing for various print and online publications. In 2018, she held an editorial internship position in Valencia, Spain, where she wrote for 24/7 Valencia, an English-language-based lifestyle magazine, covering issues including public affairs, art, and fashion. During college, Sarah also interned for Cinco Puntos Press Inc., an El Paso-based publishing company devoted to producing regional literature that is representative of a bi-national community and its people. Here she collaborated with local and national authors, illustrators, and award committees in producing and publicizing award-winning poetry, fiction, and nonfiction novels.

As a native El Pasoan, Sarah is extremely proud to represent Raben and to aid her Texas-based clients in bettering the borderland and beyond. She is an avid reader of the Morning Brew, and in her free time likes to watch baseball and hang out with her dog, Reggie.
