Shannon Trudge is a senior associate in Raben’s Strategic Planning practice. As an enthusiast for organizational strategy, public engagement, and social change, she works with clients to align their vision and services to their strategic direction and tactics – to help them leave a lasting impact in their work.
Prior to joining Raben, Shannon was the Program and Operations Manager for the National Women’s Business Council, where she led operations and public engagement with the White House, Congress, U.S. Small Business Administration, and other external stakeholders to advance women entrepreneurs and leaders. She has also served as a Research Fellow for The Nexus Fund, an organization supporting the global community in ending mass atrocities, where she assisted with strategic research and programmatic support for human rights funding and civil society initiatives. She has also worked on various social policy efforts with the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and the DC branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Additionally, Shannon dedicates her time to the global empowerment of women and girls through leadership development and community engagement, as a Mentor for Community Bridges, a graduate of the American University Women & Politics Institute’s WeLead bipartisan leadership program, and as a Young Leaders Council Member for Vital Voices Global Partnership.
Shannon graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Minor in International Studies. She is a first-generation Trinidadian American raised in New Jersey, which fuels her passion to connect with communities and explore through any opportunity possible.
