As a director in The Raben Group’s Government Affairs practice area, Diego Sánchez brings years of experience in advocacy, creating and running issue campaigns and coalition building to his clients, who have included Sprint, the Constitutional Accountability Center, and Breast Cancer Prevention Partners.
Before joining Raben, Diego was a policy advisor at the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration where he helped advance the Government of Puerto Rico’s policy priorities. He represented the Office of Governor Ricardo Rosselló to Congress and the Executive Branch across a policy portfolio that included healthcare, tech and innovation, infrastructure, and education. Diego received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Diego is passionate about the territory’s long fight for political equality. In his free time, he enjoys reading about wellness, nutrition, and fitness, and plays dodgeball for D.C.’s LGBTQ & allies Stonewall League.
