Luisa Sanchez is an associate in Raben's Strategic Communications practice area. She draws on her experience in social media and political communications to help her clients successfully navigate the ever-changing online and media scenes.

Before joining Raben, Luisa worked as a marketing and media assistant for Michigan News, where she launched a podcast highlighting the work of Latino researchers on campus, and wrote press releases and news articles. She also worked as a research assistant through the University of Michigan's undergraduate research program. Her main focus area was on contemporary performance in Puerto Rico.

Concurrently, she completed internships with Raben, Civic Nation, Voto Latino, and the Democratic National Committee. She served as a fellow in two Florida races: Darren Soto’s congressional reelection campaign and Annette Taddeo’s primary campaign for governor. Her professional experience began in high school, where she interned with Florida State Representatives Anna V. Eskamani and Carlos Guillermo Smith, and Orange County Commissioner Mayra Uribe.

Luisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Latina/o Studies with honors from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys working out, baking, traveling, and has recently taken up running – one long mile at a time.
